From 11am to 4pm on Saturday 29th June Freeman College celebrates Ruskin 200, Crafting the Land returns to Freeman Bio-Dynamic Garden at High Riggs, a semi-rural market garden in Stannington, connecting people, art and the landscape.

Professional artists demonstrate high quality arts & craft skills, come and have a go. Or take a guided tour of the 9 acre garden with BD manager, Peter van Vliet, followed by a pizza from the outdoor, wood fired bread oven. The day starts with talks on Craftsmanship and Nature.

We welcome speakers from Freeman College; Peter Baines, John Ruskin's Guild of St. George and Gareth Roberts, Regather. During the open day you can pick your own vegetables or flowers and artisan bread is for sale from our outdoor bread oven.
